The Parrots of Telegraph Hill

ladywparrots.JPGdarylfeedsparrot.JPG

These are photographs of the famous San Francisco Parrots (famous because they’re the subject of a documentary film). Each afternoon around 3-4:00 they descend on a park near the Embarcadero at Clay Street, and people feed them apples and nuts. The bearded man is my son, Daryl. The guy in the pink jacket is my friend Larry. The rest are parrot-feeders who agreed to have their photos taken. Sorry for some of this formatting–I don’t know how to make text wrap around photos yet.
