Meet Me in The Red Room

Posted on

Have you noticed all these sites for writers popping up all over the place? They give writers space to post work, published or not, put up pictures, profiles, all the usual stuff…kinda like a blog, except these are communal affairs. I joined a few of them: Authonomy, run by Harper Collins, Smith, a place for biographies and memoirs, and, most recently, The Red Room. I like the Red Room best, so I’m here to shamelessly plug it.

Come read me in The Red Room, then check out some of the other illustrious authors. One of the reasons I like The RR is it houses a lot of well-known writers–Ishmael Reed, Peggy Orenstein, Alice Hoffman, and Khaled Hosseini, author of A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner–to name just a few. If you’re a writer, join. If not, become a member. Or not. Just help me generate traffic to my page!

Thanks in advance.
